Bread-Machine Multigrain Loaf

Bread machines have become the favorite appliance of many home bakers. This recipe uses the setting for a 11⁄2-pound whole-wheat loaf. Be sure to add the ingredients according to your machine’s instructions.
Prep: 10 minutes Bake: per bread machine’s instructions
2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1⁄4 cup bulgur wheat
1⁄4 cup old-fashioned oats, uncooked
2 tablespoons toasted wheat germ
11⁄2 teaspoons salt
11⁄4 cups buttermilk
1⁄4 cup honey
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 package active dry yeast
Prepare recipe according to your bread machine’s instructions. Makes 1 loaf, 16 slices.
