Apple Walnut Sticky Buns
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 medium Granny Smith apple, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 can (12.4 ounces) Pillsbury refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
Preparation:
1.Heat oven to 375°F. Generously butter 8 regular muffin cups.
2.In bowl, mix apples, walnuts and brown sugar; divide evenly among muffin cups. Separate cinnamon rolls; reserve icing. Place 1 cinnamon roll in each cup.
3.Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until tops are golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Place cookie sheet upside down over muffin pan; turn over. Remove pan.
4.Remove lid from icing; microwave on medium (50 percent power) 5 to 10 seconds or until thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle over warm buns. Serve warm.
Apple Cream Cheese Melts
These are very easy to make, but look and taste special. These make great after-school snacks, too!
2 English muffins, split
cream cheese
1 large apple, cored, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tsp/5 mL sugar
pinch cinnamon
1 tsp/5 mL butter
Preheat your broiler.
Put the English muffin halves on a cookie sheet. Spread the English muffin halves with cream cheese. Arrange the apple slices on top. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and the cinnamon. Sprinkle the sugar/cinnamon mixture over the apples. Dot the apples with dabs of butter. Broil until the tops are brown and the apples are soft (about 5 minutes).
Watch carefully - they burn quickly! You can make this in a toaster oven or in a regular oven.

Apple Berry Breakfast Crisp
Ingredients:
FILLING
4 cups thinly sliced peeled apples(about 4 medium)
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries or sliced strawberries
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
TOPPING
1 cup Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup (5 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon) margarine or butter, melted
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Preparation :
1.Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8-inch square glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2.For filling, combine all ingredients in large bowl; stir until fruit is evenly coated. Spoon fruit into baking dish.
3.For topping, combine all ingredients in medium bowl; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over fruit.
4.Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm with yogurt if desired.
